What the Hell Happened Last Night at UNVRS Ibiza?

What the hell happened last night at UNVRS Ibiza? I swear I went in just planning “a few drinks and a bit of a dance”… and somehow woke up barefoot on a balcony, covered in glitter and existential joy. That place is not a club — it’s a full-on space portal disguised as nightlife.

UNVRS Ibiza (you might remember it as the old Privilege) just rebooted the entire concept of raving. It’s like clubbing got injected with pure serotonin and a laser show from 2099. It was my first Saturday there, and honestly? I think I ascended.

That's What UNVRS Ibiza

Me and my crew rocked up around midnight — yeah, classic. The line was popping, full of hot people wearing questionable but iconic fashion. Platform boots, mesh vests, LED wings — you name it. The second we stepped in, it felt like walking into an intergalactic fever dream. Think Tron meets jungle rave meets… something deeply spiritual.

The main floor was massive, but never overwhelming. Eric Prydz kicked things off with a slow-building set that cracked your chest open. Then, around 2AM, Charlotte de Witte took over and dropped a techno set so dark and sexy the walls might still be sweating.

At some point, I lost my friends (standard), ended up in the UV jungle room — yes, that’s a thing — and found myself dancing with a gorgeous stranger who whispered, “You’re vibrating too fast for this dimension.” I didn’t even question it. He had a silver harness and eyes like outer space. I simply said, “Cool.”

One of the things I loved most about UNVRS Ibiza was the crowd. Not just influencers and poseurs. It was actual ravers, actual music lovers, and just good people in mad outfits looking for connection. I met a lad from Brighton who used to work in crypto, and now lives on the island selling handmade necklaces. We did shots, talked astrology, and may have slow danced to a remix of Florence + The Machine. It’s Ibiza. Let it happen.

People - Music - Dance

Oh, and the visuals? Insane. Ceiling projections of supernovas, laser beams pulsing in sync with your heartbeat, acrobats spinning from vines above your head… It was like someone gave Cirque du Soleil a crate of MDMA and said, “Do your thing.”

By 5AM, the tempo slowed down, and I found myself sat on the edge of a fountain inside the venue (yes, there’s a fountain). I was soaked in sweat, grinning like a fool, hugging people I’d only met hours earlier. There’s this beautiful vulnerability that comes after hours of dancing — everyone’s walls fall down, and it’s just love, movement, and music. That’s what UNVRS Ibiza gave us.

The Music – DJs and Dirty Girls

We finally stumbled out into the sunrise, blinking like we’d survived something glorious and a little bit illegal. My legs were noodles, my voice was gone, and my heart was full.

If you’re even thinking about going to UNVRS Ibiza, do yourself a favour and don’t hesitate. Wear something wild. Say yes to everything (within reason). And make no plans for Sunday.
